How does Start Work?
Each day, you start a 15-minute timer. During that time, put your phone down and create something physical. When you’re done, you upload a live picture to access your feed.
Why do I have to create before seeing the feed?
Start is designed to reduce mindless scrolling and encourage real creativity. By creating first, you’re more intentional about how you spend your time.
Can I leave the app during the timer?
The timer pauses if you leave the app to keep the experience intentional.
What can I post?
Anything you create. Drawings, poems, music, paintings, or small everyday projects.
Start is built for real, human creativity. AI-generated content, nudity, and offensive or harmful content aren’t allowed.
How do you handle inappropriate content?
We use a combination of automated tools and human review to keep the community safe. Users can also report content directly in the app.
